HOW WAS SHNETPAQ BORN?
It didn’t start as an idea. It started as pain.
It was one night when I got a call from a friend from the diaspora. Something was happening that he couldn’t handle alone. He was having a panic attack, and he was in a bad, really bad state. He wanted help from a psychiatrist, he wanted personalized treatment — but had nowhere to go. Fully booked appointments, cold people, distant help.
The only thing that helped him that night… was a conversation with me. Nothing more. Just being heard. Having someone understand him without needing to explain everything.
That’s when something lit up inside me.
Then I remembered an old woman. A grandmother who couldn’t speak the foreign language. Who didn’t know how to explain her pain to the doctor. And the doctor — he wouldn’t even look her in the eyes. He spoke coldly. Without emotion. Without soul.
That feeling of being a stranger, even when you’re in need — it touched my soul.
That’s how ShnetPaq was born. At first, it was just a feeling. A need I had to give form to. I took it like an unshaped stone, and day by day, I carved it.
It became a vision.
And when I began to tell people about it, their eyes lit up. That’s when I understood — this is no longer an idea — it’s a mission.

Lirim is a medical doctor with a degree in General Medicine. He studied neuromarketing at Yale and has delved into philosophy to better understand the human being — not just the body, but the soul as well. He founded ShnetPaq as a refuge for those who feel lost, hopeless, or alone. For him, healthcare doesn’t start with a prescription, but with a heart that listens. He believes everyone deserves to feel seen, valued — and loved. For him, medicine is a mission, not just a profession!
